Big Thought holds Big Night

Big Thought is bringing Big Night 2019 to the Big D! That’s right, they’re biggest fundraiser of the year is returning this Saturday, March 2ndat The Bomb Factory! This celebratory night is dedicated to honoring some of Dallas’ very own who have created tremendous impacts on the youth of North Texas.

Big Thought is a nonprofit organization that has strived to bring voice and opportunity to the youth in marginalized communities for 30 years. Big Night is an award show put on by the organization to recognize those who have established a sense of leadership, empowerment, and a significant foundation for the next generation in their communities. This year Big Thought will be crediting these accomplishments to three individuals that have gone above and beyond with their contribution to such communities. The three awards and honorees include, Dallas Philanthropist, Deedie Rose, receiving the Edith O’Donnell Legacy Leadership Award, Dr. Micheal Sorell, President of Paul Quinn College, receiving the Gigi Antonio Courageous Creator Award, and Artist, Jose “Bone” Garcia, receiving Mitch Jericho Visionary Voice Award.
