The Unique Experience of Vivian’s Boutique Spa

Chic, personalized and relaxing are the perfect words to describe Vivian’s Boutique Spa. The local spa is located in Greenville among a community of other small businesses. Vivian’s aim to provide a cozy, intimate environment. The “boutique” in their name invokes an upscale setting, along with the old fashioned theme decor. Their authentic 1950s suitcases, displaying a wide selection of nail polish options, creates a more inviting atmosphere for guests. Owner Kristin Barton opened the boutique spa in May of 2017. The business venture came about after hosting a baby shower for her sister at a spa. Although the vivivivievent was nice, Barton wanted something more personalized for the special experience. She wanted to create a space where guests could enjoy everyday and more importantly celebrate their memorable moments. It was that very moment the seeds to open her own spa were planted. After doing researching, she began saving money to open her very own, independent spa. Prior to opening Vivian’s Boutique Spa, Kristin worked in finance on Wall Street. After a few years, she discovered she had different long term professional goals. After parting ways with her financial career path, she began working at a spa in New York where she found her true passion and discovered the industry she would soon open a business in. Vivian’s Boutique Spa loves hosting spa parties with samples of services to showcase their different treatments. A spa party at Vivian’s is an unique experience. It’s like a cocktail party with mini services! Guests sip champagne, munch on treats, mingle with friends all while enjoying body treatments and facial masks. We’ve hosted parties for Slipper Club of Dallas, Circle Seven Five and Instagram food bloggers. Kristin is in her thirties and stills experiences break out. “I thought that would pass once I was out of my teenager years, but that’s not the case,” Kristin said. She gets facials once a month to balance out her skin and her favorite by far is the Glacial Facial using the Alaskan Glacial Mud. Since starting the routine, she noticed a positive difference in her skin. “Self care takes a little time and we’re all very busy. But I think it’s important to do things to take care of yourself,” Kristin said. Vivian’s Boutique Spa will continue (through the month of March) its wine themed services from Valentine's - the Chocolate Cabernet Facial & the Magnolia Merlot Massage - and run a Wine Down Wednesday promotion for Wednesdays in March. Vivian’s Boutique Spa will be featuring a different Texas wine each Wednesday / serve that wine with the services. If you book the wine facial or wine massage for a Wednesday, the special rate would be $95 (compared to the regular price of $115). This would be for the 60 minute Chocolate Cabernet Facial or the 60 minute Magnolia Merlot Massage. Vivian's is also working on a “Violet” themed service, which will be announced very soon. Vivian’s Boutique Spa is named after one of Kristin’s nieces, Vivian. She has another niece, Violet, and, in all fairness (haha), she wanted to name something after her, too. Hence, the Violet themed service. So, keep a look out for this special coming soon.
