We’re back with
Best in Dallas! Today we’re featuring the local favorites of Gina Ginsburg. Gina is the founder of
The Dough Dough, Dallas’ first edible cookie dough parlor. As a single mother who plays an active role in her children’s lives, it was important for Ginsburg to create an environment that pleases both adults and kids alike. Customers can expect a warm welcome from the Dough Dough team, leaving with nothing but sweet things to say about their "doughlicious" products!

Gina Ginsburg has done everything from modeling to advertising. She also worked as a paralegal and as a commercial jet pilot. After graduating from Southern Methodist University (SMU), she realized she had a sweet spot for business. Ginsburg owned a luxury stationery boutique and a hair bar before deciding to follow her most recent business venture - allowing herself to relive the memories she has baking with her grandmother. Keep reading to find out Gina’s favorite places to wine, dine, and hang out in Dallas!
Foodie Favorite: Rise
The authentic charm of
Rise makes it the perfect place to dine. “I love the bistro tables, French decor, and sweet & savory soufflés. It’s always nice to patron somewhere that feels like home. I try to dine here at least once a week because they remember who you are and what you like to eat,” Gina said. Not only does this restaurant have a diverse menu, they also sell custom items so you can take a little piece of France home with you.
Artistic Addiction: Samuel Lynne Galleries
Gina visits
Samuel Lynne Galleries, a program of international emerging contemporary artists, to view unique artwork. The gallery hosts exhibitions with art professionals to develop artistic interaction within the Dallas community.
Decor Destination: IBB Design
"I get all of my decor from
IBB Design, a full-service furnish store and design center located in Frisco, Texas. This is my go-to destination any time I want to refresh my digs,” Gina said. IBB Designs offers high-quality furnishings and fashions color infused spaces.
Bargain Hunter: Luxury Garage Sale
Luxury Garage Sale is an upscale consignment shop. They specialize in “stand-out” designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. “I always shop with Stephanie,” Gina said.
Brain Candy: The Perot Museum of Nature and Science
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a natural history and science museum located in Dallas, Texas. “The Perot Museum has been an incredible addition to our city. The exhibitions are awesome, my kids LOVE it, and the building and architecture itself inspire,” Gina said. Gina also loves the Dallas Arboretum.
I Heart Dallas: The Joule
The Joule is a lavish award-winning hotel located in Downtown Dallas. It was built in 1927 with a 30-foot-tall eyeball planted nearby. “The Joule has an expansive collection of art and The Eye is such a cool visual wonder in downtown,” Gina said. With contemporary themed rooms, and one of a kind art, like The Eye, The Joule is a must see Dallas landmark.
