With the rise of women speaking out on sexual violence in Hollywood and the United States gymnastics team, now is the time to band together. This weekend’s Women’s March held in Dallas, Denton and Fort Worth to be part of the resistance and help empower women. What can you expect? We’ve got you covered. March in style today!
There are many reasons for the Women’s March. According to the home website for the event, the march for unity is for all women and tackles various challenges women face such as violence, the fight for reproductive rights, LGBTQIA rights, rights of women in the workforce, civil rights, disability rights, immigrant rights and environmental justice.
DFW Style Daily will be in attendance to support our fellow women and the struggles we all face in society. Marching helps encourage women to vote and be active in their communities while standing up for what they believe in.
If you’re going out to march for the first time or just need some inspiration, we’ve got you covered on what to wear to channel your inner activist.

3) Feminist Themed Tops
The Women’s March is not necessarily just for feminists, but a lot of the goals of the march are in line with liberal feminism. Liberal feminism supports the equality of all genders and sexual orientations. Stating you are a feminist is also enough to support the cause.

5) Form Fitting Jeans/Leggings
Feel liberated and free by showing your curves and not hiding your figure. Being a woman should not constrict you to covering yourself, feel the freedom to be yourself and express yourself the way you want to. Do not be afraid to show yourself.

7) Wear Matching Shirts With Your Gals
9) Athletic Wear
10) Wear a Garment to State What You’re Marching For
Remember that this march is meant to fight for the equality of all people and to send a message that women are powerful. We have value, we are bosses, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and so much more. But the most important thing women are, are human.
