Last week, we popped into Blushington’s Dallas location on Oak Lawn Avenue for a holiday glam beauty makeover; and were loving the results. With various holiday parties in mind, Blushington has created four different looks to choose from to provide you with the perfect glammed up look to take on the night. For today's look we selected Ruby from the above choices and requested an extra-sparkly lid.

Mason, the Lead Trainer at Blushinton has a few additional tips to take on your night-long festivities including how to get your makeup to stay all night, how to prep your lip for long-lasting color and how to get that luminous dewy-skin-look.

As far as locking in your make-up all night long, Mason turns to the Gerard Slay All Day Setting Spray  for all skin-types and recommends those with oiler skin to also bring along some powder to apply throughout the night.

To get a lasting lip that stays crisp and smear-free, even with a glass of champagne, Mason suggests prepping with Jouer lip conditioner for smooth application and use a stay-all-day lip like Stila. “The name says it all, they will stay all day. So, if you are drinking, or eating hors devours, the lip is there to stay." She suggests once applied to give a light smile and go around the lip with concealer for a poutier more defined look. For the Ruby look today, Mason used the shade Fiery for a blue under-toned red which helps the teeth appear whiter.

For natural dewy looking skin, Mason suggests staying hydrated first and foremost and stick to your daily skincare regime as clear skin will translate makeup the best. What comes second to her flawless canvas routine is to use Erborian Pink Perfect Crème: it's a four-in-one primer which helps blur fine lines and fill pores. "It gives a natural radiant glow without being too luminizing for oily skin-types and it photographs well, which is perfect for all the holiday party pictures."

Her last tip for a sealed-together look that shows off the bright and beautiful beam of light that you are, is to use the Kevyn Aucoin blush for any occasion. "I recommend it for everyone, especially those who are hesitant about blush as it’s a nice light glow that’s beautiful on all skin-tones. It contains a little sparkle to deliver that light radiant shine were all looking for in the holidays."
