Your favorite Everlane essentials will be popping into Nordstrom today at NorthPark Center. The pop-up will be available in eight Nordstrom stores from today until November 12. Continuing with their commitment to being transparent, Everlane brings ethically sourced, quality basics to customers with a full line of luxury essentials. Customers can expect everything from denim and cashmere, to leather goods and shoes from the online retailer.
Designed with the user in mind, Everlane’s clothing and accessories offer luxury at affordable prices while educating their customers on the origins of the products. While at the pop-up, shoppers can peruse Everlane’s best-selling must-haves, including the 100% Human Collect, a collection that donates $5 from every purchase to the ACLU. In addition, the retailer offers a collection of Grade-A $100 Cashmere and their new, ethically made premium Japanese denim collection – and the cult favorite the Day Heel.
“I really believe in Everlane’s mission, and think they’ve become distinguished leaders in the transparent retail space,” said Olivia Kim, vice president of Creative Projects for Nordstrom. “Their transparency model is forging a new path in retail by cutting out the middleman, and showing customers exactly where their products are being made and how much they really cost.”
The brand’s minimalist aesthetic influenced the pop-up design, drawing from their mission of transparency, featuring clean and warm tones. With Kim’s creative energy, she focused on discovery and a dash of disruption through engaging a unique shopping experience for the Nordstrom pop-up and the brand’s online store.
Everlane launched in November of 2011 that was exclusively online, well-designed and cut out the middleman. Their “true cost” of each product allowed them to become distinguished in the transparent retail space.
