Foodie Favorite: Chamberlain

Chamberlain's Steak and Chophouse is the one spot where Mark Kelcher enjoys his favorite meals. Considered one of America’s leading chefs, Richard Chamberlain owns the restaurant and dedicates his time to curate culinary creations unlike restaurants alike. “The Wagyu Filet is easily one of the best in the DFW area,” Mark Kelcher tells us of his steak-loving ways. “Anything at Chamberlain’s is sure to be delicious.” SONY DSC

Cocktail Culture: Cedar Social

Now owned by the Kelchers, it’s no surprise that the best cocktail originated right here in our backyard. One of Mark’s favorite drinks in Dallas is The Cedar’s Old Fashioned. “This drink has been there since before I bought Cedar Social, and it’s been my favorite drink since they’ve opened,” Mark Kelcher tells us. The restaurant also features an adventurous list of handcrafted cocktails developed by one of the nation’s leading barmen Michael Martensen, and a modern comfort food menu created by award-winning Chef John Tesar. 4

Artistic Addiction: Perot Museum of Nature and Science

The Kelcher’s are members of many art spots, but the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is one of their top favs. Located in Victory Park, the museum strives to inspire children now more than ever to be the scientific leaders of tomorrow. Which is a big reason why Mark Kelcher loves taking his children to participate in various museum activities.  5

On the Move: AT&T Stadium

Home to the Dallas Cowboys, the AT&T Stadium is a no-brainer for the Kelcher’s when it comes to their favorite sports spot. Located in Arlington, the multi-million dollar stadium stadium hosts various events including concerts, basketball games, soccer matches, motocross, and more. The twins typically take their families to as many sports games as they can, and make an experience out of it each time. Fun Fact: It is tied as the fifth largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity of 80,000. Klyde Warren Park

I Heart Dallas: Klyde Warren Park

One spot in Dallas that really resonates with Kelcher is Klyde Warren Park. “This park is in a beautiful location, between Downtown and Uptown, connecting my family to an assortment of local attractions,” Mark said. The urban green space serves as a central gathering area and provides outdoor activities for all ages to enjoy. Maintaining a balance of family and business is important to the Kelcher brothers, as they continue to expand their many business ventures.  Images courtesy of Jubei Mercado, D Magazine, Tumblr, & Visit Dallas.
