Name: Demi Craven Hometown: San Antonio, TX Agency: The Campbell Agency Notable Clients: Dillard’s, JCPenney, Watters Bridal, Neiman Marcus DFW Style Daily: How and when did you start your career with modeling? Demi Craven: “I started modeling when I was 16 after I heard an ad on the radio by Actors Models and Talent for Christ. People had always said that I should be a model, so I tried out and got a callback. I went through the training program and attended the SHINE event where I met Nancy Campbell. Now I have been signed with The Campbell Agency for about six years.” DFW Style Daily: What do you enjoy most about modeling? Demi Craven: “I enjoy getting to work with creative and talented people, meet new people and make new friends. So much work goes on behind the scenes of a photoshoot or a runway show, and I’m thankful I get to be a part of amazing teams that make them happen.” DFW Style Daily: What was your biggest challenge for you when you first started modeling? Did modeling help you discover new things about yourself? Demi Craven: “My biggest challenge when I first started modeling was being an introvert. Going to castings and go sees was intimidating. Meeting new people was the scariest part. Now I have learned to embrace who I am and just try to be a blessing to everyone I meet. That takes the pressure off.”

The event was a preview for their collection that was about to come out. There was a mini runway show for buyers. The atmosphere, dresses and people I got to work with were really fun.” DFW Style Daily: Tell me about your special talents or hobbies. Demi Craven: “I enjoy crafting, painting and sewing. I have an elementary education degree, and I love working with kids.
