Foodie Favorite: Nate's Seafood and Steakhouse
"My favorite place to eat is Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse," Mary told us. This down-home spot serves up Cajun-style steaks and seafood in with a side of live music. She loves "this family-owned restaurant in Addison. I like to come by for dinner and the live Blues music with my family. It’s always a good time!"
Cocktail Culture: Kenny's Wood Fired Grill
This North Dallas gal loves a refreshing summer drink. Her favorite: the Grapefruit Greyhound at Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill. "It’s served in an ice cold glass that they replace while you are enjoying your cocktail," Mary told us, "so it’s always perfectly chilled!" In this buzzing American bistro and bar, it's the small comforts that count.
Brain Candy: The Cavanaugh Flight Museum
"The Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison Airport is awesome for all ages," the communications maven raved. "You can learn about popular warbirds and fly in them too!" This North Dallas gem is also a non-profit and focuses on educating the masses on all things aviation.
On The Move: Twist Power Yoga
Being a boss lady is no easy task and to do it gracefully, you need a work/life balance. Mary practices yoga to keep her healthy and at ease. "A good yoga workout is perfect for the mind and the body," she told us. "I like the classes at Twist Power Yoga because they’re challenging but fun!" This fitness hotspot is perfect for getting your zen on and burning calories while you do it.
I Heart Dallas: Village on the Parkway
"Village on the Parkway in Addison has it all," Mary told us of the shopping destination, "you can shop, dine, get a mani, catch a movie and so much more." With spas, restaurants, movies and shops to boot, this retail hub is a must-see and one of her favorite places in the Metroplex.
