If you’re in the market for a whole new world of beauty products, brace yourself for the Indie Beauty Expo–the largest professionally-curated exhibition of independent beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands–set to launch in Dallas next week! Get ready for three days of over 70 indie brands and plenty of opportunities to try them all.
“We purposefully designed each day to fit a different set of needs and expectations,” IBE co-founder Jillian Wright told us. “When guests step onto the expo floor, they can expect the unexpected!”
IBE helps support the entrepreneurs who risk high paying jobs and take leaps of faith to start their own business, which in turn, supports the pipeline of farmers, labs, suppliers and other vendors that make it all happen!
Day one, “CONNECT INDIE,” will offer eight courses and panels covering anything you’d want to know about the independent beauty scene. Taking place at the Joule Hotel Downtown, CONNECT INDIE will also include an “Indie Mixer” for networking and building relationships with other founders, entrepreneurs and industry experts. If launching your own indie beauty line is a dream of yours, here’s your chance to learn about making it happen!
Day two, “SHOP INDIE,” will be exclusively press-only until 5 p.m., when the general public can shop for products and mingle with beauty experts eager to share the pros of going indie. This is the perfect day to stop by if you’re looking for ways to spruce up your skincare routine!
“TRADE INDIE” is the third and final day of IBE, which is exclusively for buyers and beauty professionals to interact with exhibiting brands. Additionally, attendees will hear from speakers on topics directly relating to their fields with tutorials and trends.
As the creator of her namesake skincare line, Jillian co-founded IBE when she realized she needed to market herself at trade shows, but couldn’t find one that fit her needs as a brand. After rounding up other independent brands she respected, IBE was born to showcase these entrepreneurs who didn’t quite fit the typical mold–just like her.
“Watching the brands learn from one another, talk about the latest trends and interact face to face with consumers, is such a joy,” Jillian told us. “It shows me how important the Indie Beauty Expo platform is to our industry.”
