You’ve seen these funky face masks, head-turning hair treatments and strange skincare regimens on the Internet, but now the unconventional goodies are at your disposal with no need for a shipment from across the pond! The Korean beauty trend has officially landed in the U.S. of A., y’all, and we’re here for it.
Our very own NorthPark Center houses one of seven North American Nordstrom stores selected to present the Pop-In@Nordstrom: KBEAUTY. Tomorrow is the last day to get your paws on the advanced and addictive world of Korean skincare right in the heart of Dallas. The pop-up has been selling over 500 cult favorites for women and men (like those weird face masks you see on Facebook) since Feb. 10, as well as products for the especially adventurous. If you’ve ever wanted to try hydrating jelly eyeshadow, 24K gold-infused swabs, white flower masks or volume-controlled mascara, now is your lucky chance. With over 27 brands featured–some of which making their American debut–we’re not sure where to start!
The head honchos of Nordstrom have ensured that shopping the KBEAUTY pop-up is as close to the Korean fashion scene as we can possibly get without hopping on a plane. The bright and bubbly aesthetic will make you feel like you’re in a K-pop music video as you browse all the goodies. We’re all about it!
Sadly, tomorrow is KBEAUTY’s last day in action. But if kitschy Korean couture is something you wish, don’t fret–head back over to NorthPark for the fashion installment of their KPOP-IN series.
Their next shop, Pop-In@Nordstrom: KFASHION launches next Friday, March 31. The shop will be all about Korean style, featuring some of the coolest brands and designers coming out of Korea. The temporary collection includes an exclusive assortment of Korean brands such as KYE, Hyein Seo, J KOO, SJYP, Yune Ho, KUHO, SUECOMMA BONNIE and NEUL.
