“Gemma is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. The Burrata is amazing!” Sheila told us of the homey N. Henderson eatery. “If you love food and wine, this is the place.” Owned by a husband-wife duo, Gemma is a relaxed restaurant decked out in white and blue with a coastal California feel. It’s known for its tasty New American bites.
Sheila hits up this cocktail haven for its creative concoctions. “Shout out to my favorite cocktailer in town, Michael Martensen, at Proof + Pantry,” she told us. Located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the restaurant-slash-bar is a must-try. “He has created fantastic bar programs. It’s always hard to choose which cocktail to try.”
“Abi Ferrin is my favorite local fashion designer,” she said. “Her designs are flattering and feminine in beautiful fabrics.” Sheila is a fan of this fashionable local designer and retail shop because they offer a wide range of women’s designer dresses, jewelry and accessories.
When she’s looking to get her sweat on, the beauty entrepreneur prefers to mix things up at Studio 6, a Pilates destination that puts a spin on the traditional method of the classic practice. “Mega Pilates on the Megaformer at Studio 6 Fitness is Pilates on steroids–I’m obsessed!” Sheila told us. “Risa is my favorite instructor.” By using the Lagree Method, she’s able to fit a dynamic workout in just 50 minutes.
