Happy New Year from all of us at DFW Style Daily! We’re back from our holiday break, just in time to shine a spotlight on this year’s 11th Annual Little Black Dress Party. Hosted by FashionCITED, the annual event is an innovative and interactive fashion fundraiser benefitting the Legal Hospice of Texas. Calling all Dallas fashion enthusiasts! Join us for a soiree that gives back, the Little Black Dress Preview Party on Thursday, Jan. 12 starting at 7 p.m.
The 2017 FashionCITED event theme is “Rhythm & Hues,” and local designers will compete for little black dress supremacy. Local fashion favorites such as Yomono, Hseng Wang, Silk Threads, and more will design little black dresses, with the audience determining the winner.
“This is such a fun competition and so different from any other fashion event in Dallas. It’s like Project runway come to life and you get to pick your favorite and help people in need at the same time. Great fun! Great people!” said Legal Hospice supporter Trina Newton.
A preview party for the spring fashion shows FashionCITED, the Little Black Dress event this month will highlight local designers’ take on the iconic little black dress. Suggestion donation amount is $25 to vote on the best of the best and the grand prize winner is decided by the honorary host committee and audience votes.
