If you’ve paid attention to the fashion scene lately, you’ve probably noticed furry slides taking over the soles of fashionistas from the West to the East Coast. It shouldn’t be a surprise when we tell you that one A-list artist and fashion killer is behind the Japanese streetwear-inspired goods for her collaboration Fenty x Puma. This weekend, Fenty fans have an opportunity to line up at her exclusive pop-up stores throughout the U.S. from L.A. to New York to our very own Galleria Dallas at Footlocker’s Six:02 boutique. Read on for the SCOOP! We stopped by this afternoon.

The store cleared out its usual merchandise to make room for the pop-up collection. Behind the glass doors decked out with gold and black logos, mannequins dressed from head-to-toe in Fenty filled the blacked-out walls. Racks of graphic long-sleeve t-shirts, track jackets, laced sweat pants, jumpsuits, and more we’re laid out towards the back as her notorious slides and shoe collection were displayed up front.

One of our very own contributors got to experience RiRi’s shop for the weekend, yours truly. After taking multiple selfies and trying on different outfits, I purchased the exclusive Fenty Rising Sun Track Jacket in gray. Towards the end of the transaction, the sales associate handed me a key to open a safe. Each pop-up shop gave a memorabilia key to every customer that purchased an item from the collection. They would then try to open the safe that contained a mystery prize (unfortunately, my key didn’t open it). However, I was still satisfied with my purchase!

Forewarning, the pieces are pricy, but that’s to expect when a pop-sensation and high-end, sporty-chic brand collaborate. The entire collection ranges from $15.99 to $1,800. You can look forward to an experience just like Kanye’s most recent pop-up at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. Although some pop-up’s will be open for several weeks in some locations, the Dallas location will close this Sunday, Sept. 11.

Don’t pout yet! There’s still some good news, a little birdie told us that Fenty fans will get another chance at owning a piece of RiRi’s creations when a new Fenty x Puma collection hits stores sometime in October.

With that being said, you better WERK WERK WERK your way to Galleria Dallas (133 Dallas Pkwy) before they’re gone!
