Following successful pop-up shopping events in Dallas and Houston, we’re thrilled to report that Flea Style will be hosting a conference for Dallas creatives to its list of fashionable offerings. North Texas creatives can join in on the fun at the first-ever Flea Style Summit this Saturday, July 30 at Gilley’s Dallas. Aimed at inspiring creative thinkers personally and professionally, the event will feature panel talks, intimate conversations, and crafting to connect attendees with like-minded people and tastemakers here in the Big D. Read on for the scoop!

Panelists are flying in from all over the country for the first Flea Style Summit, including artisans and personalities like Jennifer Harrison (Flea Market Fab), Kate Levering (Actress/Cruel Intentions on NBC this fall), Ashley Rose (Sugar + Cloth), Jen Coleman and Laura Wiertzema (Ascot + Hart & Target Does it Again), Melinda Jones (Read Between the Lines), Taylor Madison (The Simple Sol), Jenny Grumbles (Storage Wars Texas/Uptown Country Home), and Lauren Essl (Blue Eye Brown Eye).

Panel topics will range from social media and photography tips to inspiring startup stories. For more hands-on sessions, Flea Style’s show vendors – Bedthread, Boho by Lauren, Oh Deerly Floral – will teach creative workshops spanning from indigo dyeing to modern embroidery. Austin’s Mood by Moss is bringing their nomadic yurt portrait studio for aura photos and readings. And there will also be a retail area featuring panelists’ goods including Moroccan pillows, art prints, shabby chic accessories and travel photography.

Flea Style, started by uber-fashionable girl boss Brittany Cobb, plans to host the conference twice each year and will eventually take the summit on the road to further connect with its growing national audience. The summit is only open to 150 attendees (18 and up only), so register soon if you want to attend! The sessions take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, July 30. Tickets are $150 and include breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and a fabulous goodie bag.
