One of our favorite outdoor shopping centers, Allen Premium Outlets, is home to Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Nike Factory Store, and so much more. This week, its parent company, Simon Premium Outlets, announced plans to expand its retail offerings in next year. The center currently has more than 100 stores and will add 30 more specialty retailers, as well as a hotel, additional restaurants, and a whopping 1,300 parking spaces.
The new stores will be added in the heart of the shopping center near Neiman Marcus Last Call. Shoppers can also expect to see renovations including new seating and a kid’s play area, WiFi service, and landscaping.
“Allen Premium Outlets is a popular destination for the greater Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex’s residents and visitors alike, with a collection of over 100 name-brand stores offering an everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent,” said Mark J. Silvestri, COO, Simon Premium Outlets. “Simon is proud to continue to enhance our presence in the area with this expansion and we are excited to bring new, high-quality retailers, restaurants and hotels to Allen.”
Allen Mayor Steve Terrell said, “Allen Premium Outlets put our city on the map as a true shopping destination. Simon has been a great partner since the day the development began, creating jobs, supporting the community and attracting visitors from all over the world. We look forward to their continued investment in Allen with these expanded options.”
This expansion is expected to be completed by fall 2017. Until then, enjoy shopping at the outlet center to get some of the best retail deals in town! Grand Prarie Premium Outlets, Grapevine Mills, Firewheel Town Center in Garland, and North East Mall in Hurst are also under the Simon umbrella. The group is also in the process of building The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth, opening Spring 2017. The development lists Neiman Marcus as one of its future tenants.
