Candice Romo, wife of Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo, will chair tonight’s highly anticipated fashion fundraiser, Fashion’s First Down. The event, hosted by The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation and presented by the Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association, will raise funds for women and children in crisis.
The ladies of the Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association will walk the runway highlighting some of the hottest looks by local designer Khanh Nguyen of women’s ready-to-wear line Nha Khanh, who was recently nominated for an FGI of Dallas Rising Star Award. The models will wear several pieces of Khanh’s spring 2016 collection. KXAS NBC 5 News Anchor Meredith Land is set to emcee the fabulous evening.
The festivities for a cause take place tonight, June 2, at Sixty Five Hundred in Dallas. Guests have the opportunity to mingle with celebrity guests, win jewelry, experiences and more prizes in a high-end raffle, bid on live and silent auction items, and enjoy a cocktail reception with gourmet food and beverage, live entertainment and much more.
Guests may purchase tickets at the door. General Admission is $250/person. The money raised benefits The Gatehouse at Grapevine and Nexus Recovery Center in Dallas. VIP ticket holders will receive premium show seating, complimentary raffle tickets, entry into a special VIP prize drawing and also score a lavish gift bag full of exciting designer swag valued at more than $1,000.
