Read on for wrist candy that we’re obsessing over this spring and summer. Pay attention, dudes! Our picks are for both women and men this time.

Handcrafted right here in the creative hub that is Deep Ellum, it’s no surprise that BREDA strives to create watches that inspire creativity and individuality. Each watch is created to modernize and re-engineer the classic elements of traditional watch designs. Their products push the envelope with fashion-forward designs but keep timeless elements alive, complementing each wrist piece with stylistic details on the bands and dials. At affordable prices, BREDA watches range from $60 to $130 and come in different designs to complement every lifestyle.

Mistura is another local line we’re swooning over. The line of hand-crafted wooden watches was created by designer Daniel Schemel and is currently available online or in their Galleria storefront. Mixing exotic and unique designs, each watch reflects the designer’s Colombian background. Mistura strives to create sustainable products using eco-friendly woods, recycled paper, plastic, and aluminum. In fact, about 90 percent of the watch elements come from all-natural materials. Watches range from $189 to $499 and can be customized to the customers liking with their favorite color, strap and dials.

Jack Mason

Based in Texas, the Jack Mason line includes watches for men and women who appreciate classic style engineered with an “eye for detail.” The brand focuses on keeping the classic face structure of watches with a twist on the other stylistic details. These details include warm-colored perlon and nylon straps, stainless steel and leather elements. Individual watch straps are also available, which allow for a custom look and can be easily interchanged with any of the watches. Prices for these in-house designed and developed watches range from $185 to $515.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors watches have been on our radar for years due to their high-fashion look and affordable prices. The award-winning designer of luxury accessories is dedicated to a vision of style that is sophisticated and modern. Contrasting colors, two-toned bands and over-sized faces are just a few of the new trends that MK encompasses in its innovative watch design. Although the watches are not customizable, there are over 50 different designs fit for anyone. Prices range from $195 to $695
