An insider favorite décor and design destination will soon shutter, but not for long. Read on for the scoop from BelAir, plus details on deep moving sale discounts:
Located in a charming cottage at 4719 West Lovers Lane in Dallas, BelAir has established a stylish reputation as a go-to source for fine furnishings, décor accessories and fashion finds over the past three years. Co-founding sisters Shannon Van Beber and Melanie McDougal (pictured below) highlight a mix of modern and eclectic aesthetics, featuring unique artists and cool finds from New York, Los Angeles and Europe.
“I don’t like rules when it comes to design,” Van Beber memorably revealed to DFW Style Daily. “If you love it, do it. Mix it up. Be expressive, but keep it beautiful.”
As of this year, BelAir will be mixing things up, indeed. The boutique will soon bid farewell to its current digs in favor of a move to the Dallas Design District. Thereafter, home décor will become the main focus of the business. Van Beber explains, “We are closing the Lovers Lane store, and moving to a warehouse [concept] where we can offer more furniture, art and design services.”
BelAir will close its current location at the end of this month. In the interim, discounts of 40% off are available storewide, with many clothing items offered at up to 90% off. In mid-January, discounts will increase. The new warehouse-style store is projected for a March debut at a location to be determined in the Dallas Design District. So long for now, BelAir, and we’ll be seeing you again soon!
