The anticipated DIFFA/Dallas annual House of DIFFA Gala draws a black tie-clad audience for a seated dinner and runway show each spring. We’re counting the days to next year’s big event, and with the holidays fast approaching, did you know there’s a festive way to support DIFFA next week? Read on for the scoop.
Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) is dedicated to supporting the fight against HIV/AIDS “by drawing on the contributions of world-renowned creative and corporate leaders representing all branches of the design related industries.” The Dallas chapter, formed in 1984, is the only organization in Texas that provides funding to local HIV/AIDS Service Organizations within our community. To date, DIFFA/Dallas has granted more than $7 million to organizations providing direct care to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Coming up next Thursday, November 12, DIFFA Dallas will deck the halls at its annual Holiday Wreath Collection. For one night only, seasonal swags from 70 local and international designers will be available for auction.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served as guests explore a wonderland of wreaths at Expressions Home Gallery in the Dallas Design District. Themes range from traditional to modern, and each is one-of-a-kind. Best of all, funds raised through the Holiday Wreath Collection will support DIFFA/Dallas during this crucial time of year.
