Taking place Friday, November 13, Fashion Group International of Dallas’ annual Night of Stars Gala is our city’s premier fashion red carpet event of the season. Returning to the Fashion Industry Gallery in the downtown Arts District, a glamorous crowd will gather to honor top-tier talent across a range of industry specialties.

 

  Announced earlier in the year, Prabal Gurung (pictured above) will receive the Career Achievement in Fashion Award from FGI Dallas at Night of Stars 2015. The New York-based designer launched his eponymous brand in 2009, and has since gained an A-list celebrity following, including Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Lawrence, and Diane Kruger. Gurung will be in attendance to receive the Career Achievement award on November 13. Joining the list of Night of Stars honorees in the category of Career Achievement in Business is Nancy Nasher, co-owner of NorthPark Center with her husband, David J. Haemisegger. David Sutherland, President and CEO of David Sutherland Inc., and owner of Sutherland Furniture and Perennials Outdoor Fabrics, is set to receive the award for Career Achievement in Interior Design. Nancy Carlson will be named Art Patron of the Year. A Partner at Carlson Capital, L.P., her continuing impact on the arts in the Dallas area spans myriad influential posts.

 

  Completing this stellar list, DFW Style Daily is proud to announce today that Morgan Fairchild will be honored with Fashion Group International of Dallas’ Lifetime Achievement Award. The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress, a native of Dallas, has portrayed dozens of memorable characters on both stage and screen throughout her 53-year career. She is also an activist in the areas of AIDS research, women’s rights, and the environment. Additional Night of Stars Gala features include a seated dinner and lavish silent auction.
