Today, we have the inside scoop on Fielder’s ibC Design Studio, open to the public and overflowing with fabulous finds.

 

  “Besides love, I believe creativity is the greatest force in nature,” Kathy Fielder expressed to DFW Style Daily in our exclusive introductory interview. With that sentiment, the multi-tasking mother of two won our hearts. Since launching her first design firm in 1998, Fielder’s brands have expanded in both style and substance, not to mention, Hollywood often comes calling to commission her unique creative touch. Through it all, she remains true to a single mission. “All of my companies point back to design,” Fielder explains. “What I love about design is the ability to create something new and exciting, and to do it a little differently than anyone else is doing it.” With her bedding and décor lines in high demand from the likes of Neiman Marcus, Horchow, One Kings Lane, and Rue La La, Fielder’s most recent brand expansion takes her into fashion accessories. Trend-inspired clutches, faux furs, and more, bring her eye for design to wearable art.  

  Also owing to her keen sense of trend, Fielder located her business and manufacturing headquarters on Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, long before the neighborhood’s recent rekindling. Now sitting pretty at the epicenter of one of our city’s hottest areas, her ibC Design Studio is open to the public. Look sharp for the signature blue façade at 2000 Greenville Avenue, and step inside to explore all things fabulous by Fielder.  

  Naturally, pillows and bedding will first catch the shopper’s eye within ibC Design Studio. Whether from Fielder’s Isabella Collection, named for her daughter, or another of her signature lines, fully dressed beds tempt in luxurious textures and tones.

From vintage chic velvet and prints to sleek faux leather, they will complete any outfit, by design. Says the maker, a style chameleon herself, “I love clothes and putting together different looks. I like to break it up with a svelte business look one day, and maybe equestrian-chic the next – but I always love a feminine look with the perfect accessories.”  

  Emphasizing the personal aspect of any ensemble, clutches may be finished with playful tassels or customized with monograms. A full range of sizes also equals versatility. Looking ahead to the holidays, we’re eyeing an irresistible white and gold number for gifting. Fashion lovers will gravitate towards faux fur vests and coats, as well, another new addition to the Kathy Fielder product line.
