Who would have guessed that a humble squash could launch an international craze? With the debut of the Pumpkin Spice Latte in 2003, a certain coffee chain capitalized on fall’s favorite flavor. Many millions of sips later, and the seasonal sensation has spread to every corner of the edible market. We’ve spotted pumpkin spice smoothies, pumpkin spice frozen yogurt, pumpkin spice cookies and candy, and even pumpkin spice puppy treats. At first, to be honest, it sparked an urge to do a little punkin’ chunkin’, if you catch our drift, but now we smile every time we uncover a quirky new example of pumpkin spice mania.  

  And so, today, while we at DFW Style Daily do love to gobble goodies this time of year, we find fashion even more delicious. On the hunt for #PSF (that is, Pumpkin Spice Fashion), we uncovered quite a few spicy and surprisingly sophisticated finds. It would seem, at least for the next few weeks, that pumpkin is the new black. You heard it here first.
