In celebration of its 50 year anniversary, NorthPark Center has announced a new initiative NorthPark50: Fifty Years of Giving, to memorialize its milestone through charitable giving. The commemorative campaign honors NorthPark’s long-standing commitment to giving by highlighting 50 organizations in the areas of arts, health, education, social work and community service that will serve as the beneficiaries of NorthPark’s program this year.  

  “For 50 years, NorthPark Center has had the great opportunity to partner with numerous non-profit organizations, helping them reach new audiences and raise funds for important causes. As we embark on NorthPark Center’s 50th anniversary year, we thought of no better way to celebrate than by giving back to the organizations that we treasure,” says Nancy A. Nasher, co-owner of NorthPark Center with her husband, David J. Haemisegger.  

  NorthPark Center will embark on a philanthropic journey, giving back to 50 community partners for 50 days through October 28, 2015. A sampling of these partners include Crow Collection of Asian Art, Junior League of Dallas, Nasher Sculpture Center, North Texas Food Bank, SPCA of Texas, Booker T. Washington High School, and many more. Selected groups will receive specific gifts through NorthPark based primarily on their needs for day-to-day operations, with designated announcements to appear on NorthPark Center’s social media and website.  

  Raising even more awareness to this distinctive initiative, NorthPark Center will partner with Communities Foundation of Texas to host a special Give Back celebration on September 17, 2015 in honor of one of North Texas’ largest giving events, North Texas Giving Day.
