Here’s Where Trunk Club’s Sarah Gretzinger Struts for Shopping, Beauty & More in Dallas

We love a list, and a (Secret) Local List is even better. Today, DFW Style Daily’s exclusive series continues with dining, shopping, and local Big D tips from an avid tastemaker and multi-talented stylist for men.

Sarah Gretzinger boasts talent, beauty, and brains. Seamlessly blending her niche for quirky Americana with unexpected designer finds, the local Trunk Club stylist reveals her aesthetic as a true Dallas native in her  daily grind. But unlike most Big D darlings, she uses her tastemaker talents to aid the city’s most fashion-challenged clique – the local boy’s club.

After an early career in women’s retail, Gretzinger earned her MBA at SMU before teaming up with Trunk Club as a stylist for the ground-breaking menswear concept. “I revel in solving everyday wardrobe dilemmas, and I love helping clients navigate important transitions by equipping them with looks that reflect their professional and personal evolution,” Gretzinger explained. “It’s a thrill to be able to source the perfect water-resistant suiting for a recent college grad or help a man on the move dress up his décor!”

Now that Gretzinger and her fellow Trunk Club cohorts have settled into the new flagship space in Deep Ellum, she’s taking a well-deserved break to dish on the summer’s coolest hot spots. Find out where she’ll be seeking inspiration, libations, and fresh culinary creations this season.

Foodie Favorite: “I know I’m not alone here, but I’m obsessed with FT33; they have the most balanced cocktails and unexpected food pairings,” admitted Gretzinger. “My advice – don’t even look at the menu! Just talk to my friend Brad Crelia, one of their exceptional waiters; I always let him chose for me, and I’ve never been less than impressed.”

Go-To Boutique: Citing Trunk Club, of course, as the ideal summer shopping destination for the boys, Gretzinger elaborated on her own personal style hub noting, “My go-to is V.O.D. I love the owners, Jackie and Liz, and they have such a well-curated collection of designers not often found in Dallas, like Thierry Lasry, Inga, and R13; they help me look like myself – but cooler!”

Artistic Addiction: “In my mind, my home is never done; it’s constantly a work in progress, so when I get the itch for an update I inevitably turn to Nest, where I recently found the perfect Missoni pillows to spruce up my sofa,” Gretzinger enthused. “I’m also devoted to Again & Again and Scout for fun, vibrant pieces that are a total steal.”

Best Buys: Confessing to stocking her abode and her beauty arsenal with great steals, the Lakewood resident added, “I love hitting up Furbish online for some easy decor pieces to spruce up my home, and I just got their Rainbow Fringe Garland to ‘summer-fy’ my fireplace; for beauty, let’s be honest, there’s no place that’s more fun or more dangerous than Ulta!”

I Heart Dallas: “Nothing makes me happier than a stroll around White Rock Lake with my Golden Retriever, Taylor. It’s so close and yet I feel so far removed from the traffic and stresses of the work week,” Gretzinger concluded. “A close second would also have to be Trinity Groves, because driving over the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge makes me feel like I’m living in the future!”
