Grab Designer Discounts Galore at Belk’s Charity Day Sale Tomorrow

  Attention all early risers, avid shoppers, and charity supporters! If any of these categories sound like you (we definitely fall into all three), then it's time to rise and shine early this weekend to take advantage of the Belk Charity Day Sale.  

  Taking place Saturday, May 2, at all Belk department stores, the Belk Charity Day Sale gives back to communities while offering designer discounts galore on favored brands like Kate Spade, Trina Turk, BCBGeneration, and Jessica Simpson. A $5 entrance ticket earns shoppers access to the special one-day sale, and those tickets, in turn, benefit a variety of local nonprofit organizations. Just last year, the two Belk Charity Sale events raised more than $11 million for thousands of schools and community nonprofit organizations. "Belk is especially proud of our ability to give back to the communities who have supported us so much over the years," says Jessica Graham, Belk Vice President of Communications and Community Relations. "There is no limit to the number of organizations that can participate, the number of tickets they can sell, or the amount of money they can raise -- so everyone benefits."  

  Sounds like a steal right? The only catch is that to snag the best in designer discounts, you'll have to set your alarm for a very early hour to participate. Doors open at 6 a.m. on May 2 for the Belk Charity Day Sale, and the shopping event goes for four hours until 10 a.m. Totally worth getting out of bed early, the first 100 shoppers to arrive will receive a Belk gift card ranging in value from $5 to $100, and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded companywide. And that's certainly not the half of it. To snag the best in designer discounts, you'll just have to visit your nearest Belk to get in on all the action.
