El Centro College to Host Live Interview with Levi Palmer, Friday, April 24

Reading an interview is one thing, but seeing a live interview with an award-winning, innovative designer is another experience entirely. On Friday, April 24, London-based designer Levi Palmer of acclaimed label Palmer//Harding will return to his Dallas alma mater, El Centro College, for a live interview with DFW Style Daily Founder, Lisa Petty. All who appreciate a spirited and stylish conversation are welcome.

Following his graduation from El Centro College, Texas native Levi Palmer crossed the Atlantic to study design at London’s prestigious Central Saint Martins. In 2011, he and partner Matthew Harding, also Central Saint Martins-trained, launched their eponymous label, Palmer//Harding. Setting a standard for intellectual inspiration and impeccable quality, the press dubbed Palmer//Harding’s hallmark garments, “the world's most perfect shirts.” As subsequent seasons unfolded, their alluring and often androgynous creations gained acclaim in international publications, from Vogue and ELLE, to i-D and the Wall Street Journal. The duo were awarded the NEWGEN sponsorship by the British Fashion Council and Topshop, and were finalists for the ANDAM Fashion Award in Paris. All this, while innovating and expanding with each new collection's debut at London Fashion Week.

Upon his latest return to his home state, Levi Palmer will present Palmer//Harding’s Autumn-Winter 2015 collection at Betty Reiter in the Plaza at Preston Center. He’ll then sit down with DFW Style Daily Founder, Lisa Petty, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 24, for a conversation on fashion, society, and style at El Centro College. We invite you to join us for this special event, open to the public and free to attend. For complete location details and RSVP information, please visit our Event Calendar.
