Behind every well-dressed man is…an app? A new mobile styling app recently hit our radar that vows to alleviate wardrobe woes and to take men’s fashion to the next level. Created by Dallas entrepreneur and veteran technologist Terrence Carroll, the new myDiModa fashion app was created to assist with day to night outfit options for men, and all from within the comfort of his own closet. No purchase or fashion expertise is necessary.

Innovative and practical, myDimoda creates outfit options by generating looks from photos uploaded by the user from his existing wardrobe. At the time of uploading, the user will categorize the clothing item as “casual” or “formal”, and the app will conveniently take it from there. As the user continues to build his virtual wardrobe, myDiModa will learn the style aesthetic most attractive to the user, and will recommend apparel and accessory items to complement his already existing wardrobe.

 

 

As an expert technologist, Carroll worked tirelessly to perfect the mobile styling process. Using patent-pending procedures that incorporate both proprietary and complex algorithms, the app is programmed to extract the unique color and pattern make-up of the imported clothing images, to then make a recommendation on wardrobe options.
