It’s a nostalgic throwback to the 80’s as local musician and soulful crooner
Larry g(EE) channels inspiration from the popular era for his latest single, “Days Like This.” Following a wealth of local television appearances and promos, the Dallas-based artist’s latest hit is magnetic – one that gets your toes tapping and hips swaying as you unconsciously get lost in the beat. Sprinkle in a dash of Prince, peppered with moves of the late Michael Jackson, and the final recipe is perfectly blended for a radio blaring summer jam:
repeat and press play again.

As preparations went underway for the creative development of the “Days Like This" music video, Larry g(EE) or Larry Gayao as close friends and family would call him, tapped the shoulder of DFW Style Daily Editor and local stylist Leah Frazier, to head as lead wardrobe stylist for the production. Pulling from local retailers, vendors, and industry colleagues --
Clothes Circuit,
Black Beauty Accessories,
H&M, Sara Wilkins, Silverina Leonard,
City+Sky,
NeoBantu,
Charmaine Marshall Designs, and
Epocha were all to thank for an impressive wardrobe selection during filming. Directed by
End of the River Productions Director Chip Tompkins and shot primarily in Deep Ellum, we head behind the scenes to catch a glimpse of the wardrobe, styling, and local fashion inspirations that powered through to make the final cut into the “Days Like This” hit video.
