Event Recap: Girls’ Night Out Radiates Belk Galleria Dallas

Last Thursday, March 12, Belk at Galleria Dallas buzzed with a diverse and beautiful crowd in celebration of its spring edition of Girls’ Night Out. The special event gathered old friends and new, Belk devotees and first-time shoppers, to experience this spring’s hottest trends through some of Belk’s best in designer labels. Read on for the scoop.

Starting at 5 p.m., the Level Two women’s emporium, housing popular brands such as 1. State and Cynthia Rowley, really started buzzing as DJ GirlBot spun the latest in top 40 tunes. Wine and hors d’oeuvres made their way throughout the crowd as stylish trendsetters filled the Belk Flagship store space -- mixing and mingling as they shopped some of the best in designer deals.

Shopping, munching, sipping, and selfies filled the moments throughout the evening as guests of all age and backgrounds proved that girls just wanna have fun.

Local fashion influencers spotted in the crowd included Belk Personal Shopper Charmaine Marshall, Savvy Stylist Dawn Mellon, The Fashion Geek’s Jaleesa Howard, Cykochik designer Nikki Koenig, social scene grand dame Yvonne Crum, local stylist Dionne DeanVeePeeJay's Vashti Patrick-Joseph, and Vanna Collins of The Vanna Collins Show.

Dallasites also mixed and mingled with DFW Style Daily Editor, Leah Frazier, as she represented the brand 1. State. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed beauty touch-ups and partied along stylishly of course, vying for the BCBG and Jessica Simpson jewelry giveaways, with plenty of shopping to boot (hello, 20% storewide discount). Guests scooped styles from 1. State, Trina Turk, and Michael Kors – just to name a few.

As with everything, all good things must come to an end, but trust us this isn’t the last we’ll see of the Girls’ Night Out editions. No doubt about it, Belk knows how to throw a party. From all of us at DFW Style Daily, a big thanks to the fabulous team at Belk and we’ll be seeing you again soon! All photos herein, credit Nunez PR.
