Since its inception in 2000, Texas-based designer Elaine Turner has channeled her passion into an empire -- with what started out as merely a handbag label, into now a market that offers shoes, clothing, jewelry, and much more. Known for putting her unique yet edgy spin on classic feminine silhouettes, the award-winning designer turned to The Shops at Legacy in Plano this past November to open her signature pink doors for a ninth retail location.  A true mogul and expansion pioneer, Elaine Turner will visit her newest location on March 5 to greet guests and fans as she celebrates the official grand opening of her Plano boutique.  

  Earlier this month, we dropped details on the new Plano location as well as a handful of savory pics from the Marfa,Texas-inspired resort collection introduced by the designer for spring 2015. With minimal shapes, neutral palettes, and soft washed textiles, the humble bohemia collection is one indicative of the brand in its goals of cherishing beauty in the simple things. In honor of the new boutique and just months after the release of her Marfa collection, the Shops at Legacy will host the designer on March 5 as she greets guests and mingles in style at her newly opened store. Hosted by blogger Tanya Foster of Film-Fashion-Fun and Honorary Chair Tracy Lange of Heroes for Children, the event will offer complimentary mimosas and light brunch bites, as well as a $50 gift card giveaway for the first 25 guests to arrive. 20% of the day’s sales will benefit Heroes for Children.
