A trip to IBB Design’s annual IBB Loves Local event on February 12 resulted in a sensational silver-and-gold shopping experience. Longtime favorites were revisited, and new discoveries were made.
In the longtime faves category, we reconnected with some of our most-loved DFW artisans at this one-day pop-up extravaganza. We spotted Carinthia Kishaba of Couture Rocks and Shona Gilbert of SHONA House of Jewels. Times Two Design and Mustard Seed Box were also among the many local vendors that gathered at Frisco-based IBB Design Fine Furnishings, to benefit Dwell With Dignity.
With new finds around each corner, fresh obsessions were also kindled. Namely, we crushed on two area artisans specializing in fashionable wall décor. Read on for the dish on our newest hang-ups, and our thanks to Shay Geyer of IBB Design for your haute hospitality.
Floor 24 Designs by Joanne Herda
“I believe a little dash of glamour and a sprinkle of reality makes everything simply divine,” says artist Joanne Herda. We couldn’t agree more.
Displaying remarkable talent for toggling between right and left-brained pursuits, this rocket scientist-turned-artist layers dreamy hues in her abstract canvases. Whether a study in pastels, bold metallics, or a custom creation, Ms. Herda hopes that her work “enables viewers to both find themselves and lose themselves in the art.”

My Blue Avenue by Savanna Dzebic
Here at DFW Style Daily, shiny is one of our favorite colors. No wonder, then, that My Blue Avenue caught our eye. Inspired by the memory of her mother, Savanna Dzebic’s brand-new line equals stylish modern prints in gold, silver, and rose gold foil.
Choose a sweet saying – Lovely Like Audrey, La Vie Est Belle – or select a statement-making symbol, such as a skyline or an Eiffel Tower. Ms. Dzebic also offers custom works to commemorate special dates and occasions. Says the artist, “Every print is made with love.”
