Returning for its annual installment, Accessories In The Nude (AIN) has formally announced its 2015 Cocktails & Competition – with the big night being just over a month away. Already in its fourth year running, this much anticipated event includes a Business Seminar, Accessory Designer Competition, and Fashion Showcase. On the evening of Saturday March 21st, the Designer Competition will commence, marking a high energy mid-point for the Accessories in the Nude triad. Showcasing the work of DFW-area accessory designers, AIN serves as a platform for local talent, models, buyers, and editors, while supporting philanthropic causes. With each year that passes, momentum increases as well as the level of competition, and founder Meko Krout-King of Flair Productions hints towards an evening that we won’t soon forget. Taking place at Fair Park’s intimate Glasshouse Studio, AIN 2015 will kick off with a cocktail reception and showcase of competing designers’ latest wearable accessory art. A panel of judges will then take on the very difficult task of evaluating the entries. This year’s expert list includes AIN 2014 winner and handbag designer Jacque Martin, celebrated stylist Dawn Mellon, CEO of POSE Magazine Tiffany Jones Keaton, and Belk personal shopper and jewelry designer Charmaine Marshall. Throughout the evening, inspiration will abound, along with plenty of networking and fashion eye candy to behold. At the conclusion of the evening, one talented local will earn AIN’s top honor.
