Favored and worn by many, award-winning Texas-based designer Elaine Turner, has turned heads in fashion since the launch of her lifestyle brand in 2000. With locations spanning from Houston to New York City, the namesake brand channels “classic silhouettes with a feminine edge” – executing the theme beautifully through a signature collection of shoes, accessories, apparel, and handbags. While the Forbes Top 40 Tastemaker awardee has many to-do’s on her already busy list, Turner set aside time to open her legendary pink doors for a ninth retail location at The Shops at Legacy in Plano this past November.

“I was raised in Houston, and Texas holds a very special place in my heart,” Turner (pictured above) states. “I am particularly sentimental about Dallas, so to open not only one, but two stores…is exciting for me personally and for the brand. My first job after college was in Dallas and it was during those transformative years that I discovered my true passion – to create my own brand and become an entrepreneur. I’ve never wavered from my dream and feel extremely grateful to have the opportunity to grow my business in Dallas.”

The Shops at Legacy boutique is decked out in true Elaine Turner style – featuring the brand’s signature pink sofas, raffia wrapped walls, bamboo floors, and cowhide rugs. Neighbored by both Lululemon and Texas-based jeweler Kendra Scott, the newest in Elaine Turner stores will feel right at home.

And speaking of cozying right into familiar spaces, the luxury lifestyle brand has introduced its Marfa-inspired Resort 2015 collection at area locations, making it readily available both in-store and online now. Inspired by “humble bohemia” and the beauty of “simple living”, the Resort collection challenges us to relish the joys in present moments and to find beauty in the simple things. Tipping her hat to everybody’s favorite fashion getaway, Turner turns to neutral palettes, soft washed textiles, and simple shapes to usher in warmth for 2015.

We look forward to following the continued success of Elaine Turner and echo her enthusiasm for the Dallas consumer. “We take pride in our Texas, down-to-earth roots and are eager for our customers to experience and embrace our friendly, warm, fun and glamorous environment,” Turner enthusiastically states. “Ultimately, if you walk out of one of our stores feeling beautiful and fulfilled both inside and out, then I feel like we have done our job.”
