Gwyneth Paltrow Launches First Blo Blow Dry Bar in Dallas Today

It’s safe to say, with all signs pointing due South, that Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow truly loves Dallas. While the love affair with our dear city may have blossomed long ago, the A-list actress can barely keep Dallas off the tip of her tongue and her social media channels lately.

This past November, we covered Paltrow’s trek to the Big D and followed along as she launched a miniature version of her e-commerce shop and lifestyle publication, Goop in Highland Park Village. Not long following Goop’s month-long stint in HPV, did the Academy award-winning actress release her personal Dallas City Guide encompassing local faves of where to sip, shop, and relax around town.

 

 

With Dallas lingering at the forefront of her mind, Paltrow along with business partner and hairstylist to the stars, David Babaii (pictured above), recently announced the opening of their first Blo blow-dry bar location in Dallas today. “Bringing flawless tresses to Dallas,” the first-ever Dallas location will be conveniently perched off of Uptown’s Knox Street, with SMU business grad and franchise partner Stephanie at the helm.

 

 

“I am so excited to grow the Blo brand in the DFW market,” Stephanie (pictured below) says proudly. “Being native to Dallas, I realized the demand for this type of luxury service and knew Blo was the perfect model. Uptown is the ideal location to introduce Blo to the Big D [and] I cannot wait to begin this journey.”

 

 

With its original launch in 2007, Blo has grown by leaps and bounds and is now branded as North America’s Original Blow Dry Bar. Spanning 45 locations in the U.S., with even more plans for future international expansion, the Blo concept of “WASH BLOW GO” is undeniably contagious. Keeping in line with the “no cut, no color” mission, Dallas’ new location will host 12 Blo Out stations manned by top area stylists who are ready to tame tresses all week long.
