Without a doubt, businesses are relying more than ever on the use of personalized mobile applications as an alternate means of connecting intimately with its customers. From recognized retailers to small businesses, mobile apps are hitting the scene to minimize shopping woes, and to provide quick one-touch access for an all-out seamless shopping adventure.
Recently announced, NorthPark Center is the latest in the line of mega shopping centers to add an interactive Smart Phone app to its repertoire of services. Now available for download, this newest technological addition was founded for ease and comfort, and projected to maximize the overall NorthPark experience.
While the new NorthPark app centralizes northparkcenter.com for its customers, other national shopping centers have previously boarded the app train marking this as one of the chief trends in retail customer service. By way of example, the Shops at Park Lane launched its personal app in early 2014, with Simon Malls labeling its app as “the mobile planner for the savvy shopper” for at least 130 of its locations nationwide.
“Mobile apps have proven to be a successful tool for today’s savvy customer by giving them the information they want at the push of a button,” says Nancy Nasher, president of NorthPark Development Company. “By creating this advanced yet user-friendly shopping app, we are able to extend the shopping experience from the physical to the digital, so that our customers can be fully informed about the incredible happenings available at NorthPark Center.”
Like most shopping apps, NorthPark’s newest tech baby features an interactive map of all stores, push notifications for popular retailers, an events tab of promotions and organized events, and up to the minute details on deals, news, dining, and entertainment. Out of all of these features, the most appealing is undoubtedly the parking lot reminder. Who hasn’t been guilty of “losing” their car at NorthPark at one point in time?
The app is free and available for download at the Apple App Store or on Google Play. With additional roll-outs and updates scheduled over the next several months, our curiosity is still piqued to determine whether NorthPark’s latest venture pans out to truly be a shopper’s most handy accessory.
