After we stuff ourselves full at Thursday’s big feast, our minds and pocketbooks will be prepped for an all-out shopping excursion for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Ushering in the holiday season in its usual frenzied fashion, both Black Friday and Small Business Saturday will drum up some of the best deals and services from local retailers and designers. While we know that there will be door-busters and early bird specials aplenty from major retailers, we at DFW Style Daily always recommend looking to local boutiques and designers first. For a handy reference guide, we polled a sleigh-full of our faves for their upcoming sales:  

  Abi Ferrin: 30% off entire site and 50% off one item in store, Wednesday 11/26 – Monday 12/1. Accents Boutique: Buy 1, Get 1 40% off all regular price items storewide at both Mockingbird Station and Southlake Town Square locations, Friday 11/28. The store will serve pastries, eggnog, and orange juice in the morning followed by mini manicures from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., with additional snacks to be provided to fuel shoppers’ energy. Belk: Although this mega retailer hardly qualifies as a local boutique, our favorite one-stop shopping destination will have its doors open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, 11/27 and will stay open until 10 p.m. on Friday, 11/28. The first 250 customers to arrive will receive free gift cards valued anywhere from $5 to $1,000, with a guaranteed $1,000 winner at every store. Design District Market: The Design District Market celebrates Small Business Saturday on 11/29 at Community Beer Co. with local bands, Texas vendors, and craft beer.   Dress for Success: All pants, skirts, and blouses are on sale for $2 each at the Dress for Success resale shop. Doors open from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. every Friday and Saturday beginning on Friday, 11/28 through Saturday, 12/20. The Dress for Success resale shop is located inside Valley View Mall upstairs near Sears. Ella Bleu Boutique: 30% off entire store, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m on Friday, 11/28. After 2 p.m., 20% off entire store, Friday 11/28 – Sunday 11/30. Epic Apparel: Buy 1, Get 1 30% off all full priced merchandise, Friday 11/28. Exhale Spa “Well Being” Boutique: All items are slashed, including active-wear gear  by Lululemon and Sweaty Betty, along with discounts on skincare products by Tata Harper and Innovative Skincare. 40% off purchases between 8 a.m. – 9 a.m., 30% off between 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., 20% off between 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., and 15% off between 11 a.m. to close, Friday 11/28.  

  The Gypsy Wagon: Doors open at 9 a.m. on Friday, 11/28. Store will serve breakfast tacos, coffee, and mimosas until 11 a.m. Wear pajamas to be entered into a raffle to win a $100 gift card and the first 50 shoppers to check out will be given a goodie bag.
