Larry G(ee)'s Freaky Funky Friday Halloween Show

Granada Theater: 3524 Greenville Avenue, Dallas

If conventional costume parties seem de classe, venture to Lower Greenville Avenue for an alternative bash. Dallas’ top rated entertainment venue is throwing a music-filled Halloween show that’s sure to haunt your soul. Hosted by Dallas Observer honoree, Larry g(EE), guests can ditch any chances of doing the “Monster Mash” and rock out to modern, soulful hits like “Yo Mama” and “Camera Phone.” With guest appearances by Quaker City Night Hawks and Taddy Porter, partying with this crew will have you boo-gying all night long. Hotel ZaZa’s Freak Show

Hotel ZaZa: 2332 Leonard Street, Dallas

Whether it’s a poolside soirée or an opulent Sunday brunch, Hotel ZaZa knows how to cater to the lavish, no matter the occasion. In signature style, the Uptown Dallas hotel is hosting its annual Halloween bash on the big night. Inside the Dragonfly restaurant, guests will choose from a selection of craft cocktails and mini appetizers served by costumed ZaZa staff. Top hits will be played by DJ Red Sean and DJ Blake Ward, making for a party that is sure to awaken the spirit. The fun begins at 10:00 PM. Tickets ring in at $50 and may be purchased on site; bottle service is also available.  

 

Day of the Dead Party

W Dallas Victory Hotel: 2440 Victory Park Lane, Dallas

The Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos is making its way to Victory Park on Halloween night. The glitter-meets-ghosts concept is the perfect remedy for lively guests. Cascading 33 floors above the city, tunes by DJ Avenger will fill the air while nocturnal views of the Dallas skyline wow the crowd. The event starts at 9:00 PM. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Lakewood Theater: 1825 Abrams Road, Dallas

Finally, Halloween would be incomplete without a late night tribute to cult classic film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In keeping up with its annual ritual, the historic Lakewood Theater will be showing the legendary flick at midnight. Costumes will surely be spotted and “prop packs” are available for purchase, or simply stock up on popcorn and find a shadowy seat in the back of the theater.
