Snag Designer Discounts for a Cause at Belk’s Charity Day Sale

Attention all early risers, avid shoppers, and charity supporters! If you fall into one or more of these categories (we’re in the three category club), the Belk Charity Day Sale is just the ticket for you.

Taking place Saturday, November 8, at all Belk department stores, the Belk Charity Day Sale gives back to communities while offering designer discounts galore. A $5 ticket earns shoppers entry to the special one-day sale, and those tickets, in turn, benefit a variety of causes across the chain’s 16-state footprint. Last year, Belk Charity Sale events raised more than $10 million for thousands of schools and community nonprofit organizations. Sounds like a dream, no? Speaking of dreaming, the only catch is that we’ll have to set the alarm for a very early hour to take advantage of this special shopping opportunity. Doors open at 6 a.m. on November 8 for the Belk Charity Day Sale, and event shopping hours extend through 10 a.m.

Worth adding an extra shot to our morning lattes that day, the first 100 shoppers at the door will receive a Belk gift card ranging in value from $5 to $100, and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded companywide. Not to mention, deals in store include 25% off designer handbags by Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke, and more. Women’s and men’s designer shoes by the likes of Cole Haan and Sam Edelman will be discounted up to 50% off. And that’s not the half of it. Beginning Friday, Oct. 31, tickets for the Belk Charity Sale may be purchased at local Belk stores, with all revenues equally divided among participating charities and schools. Charity representatives interested in taking part in this fundraising event should contact their local Belk store manager for more information, or visit Belk.com/charitysale.   Store exterior image, credit Belk Galleria Dallas.
