Taking place Friday, November 14, Fashion Group International of Dallas’ annual Night of Stars Gala is a can’t-miss event for area fashion fans and industry insiders. Marking a milestone anniversary for FGI Dallas, 2014 brings a new venue, downtown’s Fashion Industry Gallery, and a stylish roster of honorees.  

  Announced earlier in the year, Zac Posen (pictured above) will receive the Career Achievement in Fashion Award from FGI Dallas at Night of Stars 2014. The dynamic 33-year-old designer has established an A-list celebrity following and reputation for red carpet excellence since hitting the scene in 2001. “With this year being FGI Dallas’ 65th anniversary, we are thrilled to honor Zac Posen, and also mark this special milestone in our history,” said Chuck Steelman, Regional Director of FGI Dallas.  

Posen will be in attendance to receive the Career Achievement award on November 14, set to be presented by Neiman Marcus Fashion Director, Ken Downing. Joining Posen on the list of Night of Stars V.I.P.’s will be newly-announced honorees in the categories of Lifetime Achievement, Career Achievement in Business, Career Achievement in Event Design, and Art Patron of the Year. In the former categories, actress and philanthropist Linda Gray (pictured above, left) will receive FGI Dallas’ Lifetime Achievement Award. Kim Dawson Agency head Lisa Dawson (pictured above, right) and celebrated designer Todd Fiscus will be honored with Career Achievement awards in Business and Event Design, respectively. Capping the list, Mary Kay’s Nancy Rogers will be named Art Patron of the Year. Additional Night of Stars Gala features include a seated dinner and lavish silent auction.
