A sure sign that back-to-school season is upon us, Texas’ annual Sales Tax Holiday takes place this coming Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10. The three-day tax break applies to most clothing, backpacks, school supplies, and footwear priced under $100.  

  A fair amount of fine print is involved in the tax-free deal, so we highly recommend a visit to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts website before you shop.
