Taking place Friday, November 14, the Fashion Group International of Dallas Night of Stars Gala is a can’t-miss annual event for area fashion fans and industry insiders. Marking a milestone anniversary for FGI Dallas, 2014 brings a new venue and an internationally renowned designer guest.  

Announced just hours ago, Zac Posen will receive this year’s Career Achievement in Fashion Award from FGI Dallas at Night of Stars 2014. The dynamic 33-year-old designer has established an A-list celebrity following and reputation for red carpet excellence since hitting the scene in 2001. Based in New York, Posen is set to launch new bridal and eyewear collections this year, complimenting his eponymous women’s wear collection. He has also accepted a new appointment as Creative Director for Brooks Brothers' women’s wear and accessories divisions, and recently returned to judge alongside Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and a rotating roster of notable guests on Lifetime’s Project Runway Season 13.  

  “With this year being FGI Dallas’ 65th anniversary, we are thrilled to honor Zac Posen with this prestigious honor, and also mark this special milestone in our history,” said Chuck Steelman, Regional Director of FGI Dallas. Posen will be in attendance to receive the Career Achievement award on November 14.
