Chances are, your regular drive by the West Village near I-75 and Lemmon Avenue reveals growth by the day. Currently experiencing a boom, the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex has just announced its fourth phase of expansion. The addition will bring many new retailers and residences to the popular Uptown Dallas destination.

 

 

By the numbers, 3700M (rendering pictured below) is located at 3700 McKinney Avenue, reaching high with a 21-story tower and adjacent buildings. The development includes 380 apartment units and adds approximately 37,000 square feet of retail space. Though reps are mum on the full slate of stores set for rolling debuts at 3700M through this fall, we can report that J. Crew is officially part of the mix. Additional on-the-record tenants as of now include Bisous Bisous Patisserie, Pure Barre workout studio, and European menswear import, SuitSupply.

 

 

Since 2001, the West Village complex has steadily expanded across Blackburn Street and down Cityplace West Boulevard, fanning out to the north and east from its phase one core near the corner of McKinney and Lemmon Avenues. The 3700M addition will bring the Village’s grand total to 6,000 apartments, 250,000 square feet of retail space, and nearly 100 shops and restaurants. Talk about a teenage growth spurt.
