Ah, red, white, and blue. The wheel-spanning hues hallmark our favorite holiday of the summer months, filled with family, friends, and fireworks celebrating our nation’s birthday. And for us, the fashion obsessed, these most patriotic tones are also perfect for a little seasonal color-blocking. In honor of the coming 4th of July holiday weekend, DFW Style Daily presents a gallery like none we’ve done before. Combining both warm childhood memories of the 4th and - of course - a healthy dose of style, we are proud to feature some of the cutest little firecrackers in Dallas. Enjoy!  

  Ayden & Inaya Sheikh Age: 3 ½ years Parents: Imran and Natalie Sheikh, Plano The twins wear a mix of brands, including Petit Bateau, H&M, and No Added Sugar. Ayden watches his father, the U.S. Director of Aftershock London, intently and likes to emulate his style. Inaya is a very dainty girl who loves her dresses!  

  Miller & Fletcher Brant Ages: 5 years & 1 ½ years Parents: Robin & Mike Brant, Dallas When asked about his favorite part of 4th of July, Miller said, "I like sparklers.” He and little brother Fletchy will beat the heat while enjoying the holiday in shorts, tees, and lightweight denim.  

  Presley Belin Chennault & Liam Blaze Chennault Ages: 3 ½ years and 2 ½ years Parents: Carinthia Kishaba and Kevin Chennault, Southlake “We love Ella Bella boutique in Southlake for Presley,” says mom Carinthia, founder of Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry. “They always have the cutest ensembles.” As for the younger cutie pictured here, Liam is rocking Ralph Lauren for the 4th.  

Alyssa Belle Fowler & Jade Elizabeth Fowler Ages: 2 years & 6 years Parents: Jamie & Wade Fowler, Garland Jade is “so excited to stay up late and watch fireworks,” reports mom – and model - Jamie. She says that sis Alyssa is going to try and do the same. The girls’ star-spangled outfits are by Jumping Beans from Kohl’s.  

  Aria Rathod Age: 12 months Parents: Priya & Veeral Rathod, Dallas Aria wears a stylish mix and match suit that provides both ruffles for fun and protection from the sun. DFW Style Daily Video Editor Priya emphasizes, “When we think of the 4th of July, we think of fun in the sun with our friends and family!”  

  Gabriela Lee & Austen Lee Ages: 3 ½ years & (almost) 2 years Parents: Tammy Nguyen Lee & George Lee, North Dallas “These outfits are fun and patriotic - just in time for Austen's ‘Red, White & Two’ birthday party,” says Tammy, founder of Dallas-based Against The Grain Productions. The girls wear a mix of Gymboree, Etsy, and Zulily styles.  

  Matheson Burghardt Age: 14 months Parents: Ashley & Richard Burghardt, Dallas Handsome Mathy comes by his style naturally; mom Ashley is a fashion designer and the founder of Ashard Richley. He’s sporting a navy and white stripped sailor-style swimsuit with a fantastic red newsboy cap.  

  Nha-Vy Dang Age: 2 years Parents: Nha Khanh Nguyen & Loi Dang, Dallas Nha-Vy loves to borrow her fashion designing mom’s handbags, and this week’s game of dress-up netted a perfect July 4th ensemble. Do we sense a future Nha Khanh designer in the making?  

  Emily Quartaro Age: 3 years Parents: Matt & Holly Quartaro, Plano “Emily will only wear skirts and dresses,” reports mom Holly, lead stylist for Galleria Dallas. “A pair of curly red, white, and blue hair accessories with stars complete her patriotic look!”  

James Anthony Jones Age: 1 year Parent: Sarah Jones Stylish James wears a Carter's navy and white romper, as well as a red bandana-cape, the first sample accessory from designing mom Sarah’s STATUS baby line. We can’t wait to see more, as her STATUS designs for grown-ups are fabulous!  

Iyla Grace Mills Age: 6 months Parents: Thais & Dynell Mills, Katy Iyla, a.k.a. "Bibby Gumbo," wears a vintage red and white top paired with authentic bell bottom jeans from the 1970’s. Her holiday look is topped off with a burst of sunshine in the form of a hand-painted floral headband by Thais Flowers. Mom reports that this cutie was quite excited by her July 4th photo shoot. Says Thais, “She smiled so hard, she fell over head first! As fast as the vintage shoot started, it was over!”  

  Haven Proffitt Age: 17 months Parents: Jenny & Tim Proffitt, Dallas “My favorite part of this outfit are her little flip-flops,” says mom Jenny. “I can't believe I actually got my shoe-hating girl to wear them!” Perhaps hinting a future in fashion, Haven’s romper one-piece is also right on trend for summer.  

  Zain Tadia Age: 4 years Parent: Yasmeen Tadia, Plano Zain sports an H&M plaid button-down with Zara khakis and a Gap Kids hat. Mom Yasmeen, founder of Fluffpop Gourmet Cotton Candy and HotPoppin Gourmet Popcorn has plans to make the holiday sweeter for her many foodie fans in the DFW area and across the nation.   Happy 4th of July from all of us at DFW Style Daily!
