Since her appearance on Project Runway Season 6, Shirin Askari has been steadily building a name for herself as an independent designer on the rise.

Based in Dallas, her creations rock runways and trendsetters’ closets across the country, and a position as a stylist with Front Door Fashion keeps her finger on the pulse of current trends. Today we have news of a special debut from Shirin, in conjunction with the launch of her Spring/Summer 2014 Collection.

Staying true to her modern, feminine aesthetic, Shirin Askari’s latest line pops with bright prints and solids in easy silhouettes. Dresses, both mini and maxi, will transition from day to evening with a change of accessories. Skirts, pants, and tops to mix and match will slide seamlessly into any warm weather wardrobe. Select styles are pictured herein; prices range from $48 – $140.

Adding a convenient twist this season, Askari also debuts her first brick-and-mortar pop-up shop for Spring/Summer 2014. Located inside Gallerie Noir in the Dallas Design District (1525 Dragon St.), the shop is open from Monday through Saturday, and by appointment on Sunday. For more information, visit and
