Just in time for Father’s Day and the ongoing graduation season, a fresh Dallas brand is putting a new a spin on shirts for him.
May 2014 marked the launch of collection number one from Vincent Love. Based in Big D, founder Lewis Perez maintains a tight focus on men’s button down shirts in standard solids and checks, as well as limited-edition prints. The spin? Vincent Love seeks an east coast edge with fabrics sourced in New York City. Each shirt is also handmade in the Big Apple, right on Fashion Avenue, and inspected carefully with an eye for quality and fit before it returns to Dallas. Could such sartorial bilocation represent a new local menswear trend? Only time will tell.
For now, guys are invited to browse Vincent Love’s Spring/Summer 2014 offerings, including three core collection shirts in gray, gingham, and chambray. Current limited prints focus on florals in varying shades, all in short sleeves and great for gifting. Most shirts ring in at $149.
Looking ahead, Perez will release Vincent Love’s Autumn/Winter 2014 range come September. The designer is also evaluating the addition of casual items and outerwear to the line. For more information, visit VincentLove.com.
