Just in time for that spring cleaning spree you haven’t quite gotten around to yet, this Saturday, May 17, is National Pack Rat Day. Go ahead and take a full 24 hours to revel in the cumulative chaos of your cabinets and closets – you have our permission. Thereafter, however, a reorg might be in order. As the offbeat holiday authority Mental Floss cautions, “There’s a fine line between holding on to nostalgia, and being a serious contender for an episode of Hoarders.”

If you’re like us, your wardrobe is a main offender in this category. As such, to make cleaning up and clearing out a bit easier, today we present our top local picks for consigning and donating gently-used fashion. Read on for the list, and a Happy National Pack Rat Day to all!
