With Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, and more, just around the corner, the Etsy Dallas Spring Bash is well-timed to fill our upcoming seasonal gifting needs. Taking place Saturday, April 26 at the Shops at Park Lane, this celebration of all things local is also a great place to pick up a little treat (or two or three) for ourselves.
Established in 2007, Dallas’ Etsy collective includes artisans spanning a wide range of categories, from apparel to home goods to bath and body products. The group’s periodic bashes draw throngs of fans from across the Metroplex, some waiting in line for hours for the handmade shopping to begin. In other words, come early and caffeinate fully to experience all that the Etsy Dallas Spring Bash has to offer.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, over 40 local vendors will set up shop in two key areas at the Shops at Park Lane (I-75 at Park Lane, Dallas). Springtime Avenue will have a bustling, street fair feel, while a covered Spring Bash Pavilion tent will offer a more intimate shopping experience. This season’s vendors include many DFW Style Daily favorites, such as Cykochik Custom Handbags, f. is for frank Jewelry, and K8 Made Accessories. Dozens of additional discoveries await, in just about every conceivable handmade category.
Rounding out the Spring Bash fun are a photo booth and playground for the kids, plus a make-and-take crafting area sponsored by Whole Foods. Free Bash Bags filled with handmade goodies will be offered to the first 50 shoppers. In high demand, we recommend arriving as early as possible to snag one of those bags.
