Shop Designer Décor For A Cause at Dwell With Dignity’s Spring 2014 Thrift Studio

A virtual dream team of Dallas interior designers will join forces for the upcoming Thrift Studio to benefit Dwell With Dignity. Each a passionate supporter of the organization’s mission, “Inspiring Lives Through Design,” they will present shop-able décor vignettes at the International on Turtle Creek Design Center, beginning this Friday, April 11.

Founded in 2009 by El Centro College alums Lisa Robinson and Kim Turner, Dwell With Dignity is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring those less fortunate by transforming houses into homes. Through the combined efforts of its founders, partner designers, and top tier sponsors, Dwell With Dignity provides everything from furniture and bedding to artwork and pantry staples. Dwell with Dignity believes that if you can change a person’s surroundings, you can change their outlook on life.

Dwell With Dignity’s bi-annual Thrift Studio shopping event raises funds to support its mission, while offering the chance to feather our own nests with covetable designer décor. Presenting tempting vignettes at the Spring 2014 Thrift Studio are a roster of celebrated experts, including Jan Showers, Mecox, Julio Quiñones + Culp Associates, Tompkins Lloyd Interiors + David Sutherland Showroom, Swoon the Studio, and Sarah Pickard + Robert Allen Showroom. Each member of this dream team has created a room with furniture and housewares from Dwell With Dignity’s warehouse, as well as their own unique designer finds. Select vignettes from previous events are featured herein, with new picture-perfect rooms open for public shopping as of Friday, April 11.

If the idea of combining great design and an even greater mission inspires you, head to the International on Turtle Creek Design Center (150 Turtle Creek Boulevard, Suite 204, Dallas) from April 11 through May 10, 2014. Thrift Studio is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. A special preview party will take place on Thursday, April 10.
