As we anticipate its Grand Opening Charity Bash this Thursday, April 3, Belk’s brand-new Galleria Dallas flagship welcomed eager patrons to a soft opening this past weekend. Needless to say, after a year of waiting, we were among the first to visit the newly remodeled 170,000 square foot store. Boasting an endless array of spring style steals, clever cocktail looks, and this season’s menswear must-haves, Belk’s soft launch revealed covetable finds in every conceivable category. Today, we present our top picks from the retailer’s arrival.   1. Best Dress’d:    

Hit the first floor of the new Belk flagship to shop frocks by LaRoque for Belk, available exclusively at the retailer, as well as Plenty by Tracy Reese. Our top picks include LaRoque’s white shirtdress ($198) and backless sheath ($198), as well as printed frocks from Plenty ($98 - $148).       2. Best Summer Staples: The city’s most stylish men are avowed Bonobos devotees, and Belk is the only retailer that boasts an in-store boutique for the online-only brand. Find the label’s full collection of well-made basics on the store’s top floor.       3. Best Cocktail Chic:     Dallas-based Lucy Dang, Texas Next Top Designer 2013, was among the winners of Belk’s Southern Designer Showcase. Her outstanding line of evening dresses, Lady by Lucy Dang (from $240), truly shines. Embellished finds by French Connection are also irresistible for a night on the town.       4. Best Day-to-Night:     Rock your at-work style with fresh classics from two more haute Belk featured labels, Magaschoni and Pink Tartan. Bold looks in bright pink ($348) and navy ($388) ranked among our must-haves from the Magaschoni boutique, while dresses, skirts, and jackets in polished prints and blush hues were our day-to-night picks from Pink Tartan.       5. Best Style Steals:     Last but not least, Belk is ringing in spring with serious steals for the fashionably addicted.
